An area that we are evangelizing our community and a target area is through Professional made yard signs.  The signs give our church name and Logo as well as our webpage address. We strategically place these signs where the community has something going on.  If there is a community wide garage sale, a county fair, or most recently “the Frog Follies” (a classic car expo), or any other gathering of people we place these signs out on the corners where they will be seen!

If nothing is going on we place these signs for short periods of time in entrances to trailer home parks, apartments, etc.  Most recently schools since they just started back in session. We get daily reports of hits to our web page and it has never failed that when placed in high volume areas we are seeing a super high volume of visits to our page!

We came up with this idea when faced with the high cost of advertising on a one time run of a add being in the $250-400 range. We bought 10 doubles sided signs for a cost of $100.  These signs are seen daily where as a add in the paper would be seen once and maybe by not many people, there are so many adds to see in a paper.

I have had emails and phone calls from this and am praying for this to be an effective way to reach into an area in a first class way with a moderate expense.
